Date: 2012-09-10

On the 7th of September 2012, the Belgian Federal council of Ministers signed the contract for the new Phase of the Interuniversity Attractions Poles (IAP) programme. This programme provides  support for basic scientific research in Belgium through different networks, among which the Belgian research initiative on eXotic nuclei (BriX) network. As the technical ISOL@MYRRHA design is one of the four work packages within the BriX project, this event assures the further development of the envisaged facility. The Phase VII of the IAP programme will be running until 2017.
